Experienced Liquid Aeration and Over-Seeding by Fit Turf

In order for a lawn to grow and stay healthy, it must absorb water, air and essential nutrients during the crucial warmer seasons. Aeration helps lawns maximize their absorptive capabilities by creating tiny holes in the soil so that air, water and nutrients can reach the roots. Here at Fit Turf, our team uses liquid aeration, a recently-developed kind of aeration that uses a special liquid formula to open up thousands of tiny holes in your lawn; we call it Turf Fuel™ Xchange™.

Learn more about the advantages of liquid aeration below and contact our team to get started on your lawn aeration today!

The Liquid Aeration Advantage

Over time, the soil beneath our lawns is compacted, making it harder for water, air and other nutrients to reach grass roots. Aeration is used to relieve compaction and make room for the uninhibited flow of essential nutrients, water and air. For many years, traditional core aeration – the process of removing small plugs of soil in order to create small holes in a lawn – was used to aerate a lawn. At Fit Turf, we use a newer method called liquid aeration to do the same job more efficiently and effectively. Liquid aeration works through dispersal of a special liquid solution that seeps through the soil and creates tiny gaps everywhere it goes. Instead of the several hundred surface-level holes you get with core aeration, with liquid aeration, you get thousands of tiny holes permeating deep into your soil for maximum aeration.

Aeration and Over-Seeding

Once our team has aerated your lawn with liquid aeration, it will now be able to absorb more water and exchange air more freely, allowing it to grow faster and stronger. Liquid aeration creates the perfect environment for over-seeding. Over-seeding is the practice of planting grass seed directly into existing an existing without having to tear up turf. Since aeration opens up spaces for nutrients to reach the soil, it also creates space to add more seed to your lawn. When performed directly following aeration by our experienced team at Fit Turf, over-seeding can greatly increase the density and health of a lawn.
